Excellent oral hygiene is essential for healthy teeth, but the foods you choose can make a massive difference to your dental health. Try to include some of the following foods to help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Cheese is packed with calcium, and it also helps to interrupt the action of decay-causing bacteria in the mouth. Instead of dessert, choose the cheese board because it’s an excellent way to finish a meal.
You need calcium for healthy teeth and gums, but your body needs vitamin D to absorb it adequately. Fatty fish such as salmon is an excellent source of vitamin D, and it’s great for your overall health too.

Tea is full of polyphenols that help to fight the bacteria found in dental plaque. It’s an excellent reason for drinking more tea and especially after a meal!
