11 Apr Celebrate this Easter with the Carnival at Panthers
It wouldn’t be Easter without going to the Carnival in Penrith, and this year the Panthers Easter Carnival is making a return at The Backyard. It’s being held on Easter Sunday, and the fun begins at 12 PM, continuing right through until 8 PM. The event is being kicked off by DJ Tam who is playing songs for all ages. She is also playing some musical games with kids which is sure to be loads of fun.
Other events include plaster eggs for budding artists to paint, and animal lovers will enjoy the petting zoo which is open from 1 PM to 5 PM. Of course, it is Easter, so the Easter Bunny is putting in an appearance with Scratch and Penny, his cheeky Panther friends. They will be hanging around for the Easter egg hunt for the young and young at heart to enjoy.
One of the most traditional things to enjoy at Easter is a hot cross bun, but how quickly can you eat yours? Find out during the hot cross bun eating competition. Other attractions include the jumping castle, food trucks and amusement rides.
